Comenzamos Gravity en 2015, y hasta hace poco el nombre oficial de la organizaci\u00f3n era Gravity Leadership. Pero Recientemente cambiamos nuestro nombre a Gravity Commons<\/strong>. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Dos razones:<\/p>\n

1. El alcance de nuestro trabajo se ha ampliado<\/h2>\n

Con el paso de los a\u00f1os, el alcance de nuestro trabajo se ha ampliado progresivamente para incluir a cada vez m\u00e1s personas que no necesariamente se consideran l\u00edderes, especialmente en entornos eclesi\u00e1sticos. Gravity nunca ha sido realmente una \u201corganizaci\u00f3n de liderazgo\u201d t\u00edpica, y las cosas que nos importan y, por lo tanto, tendemos a discutir, han atra\u00eddo a una audiencia de personas que encuentran insostenible la fe que heredaron, por una variedad de razones.<\/p>\n

Seguimos trabajando con l\u00edderes, por supuesto (\u00a1much\u00edsimos!). 2. Queremos cultivar conversaciones catalizadoras<\/h2>\n

\u201cCommons\u201d es el ingl\u00e9s terreno de uso com\u00fan.<\/span> (A principios de 1500, los \u201crecinto<\/a>\u201dfue el proceso de transferir estas tierras comunes a propiedad privada, privando as\u00ed a los comuneros de sus derechos de acceso a la tierra.<\/p>\n

Cuando todos participan y contribuyen a la conversaci\u00f3n, el aprendizaje de toda la comunidad se multiplica exponencialmente. Queremos crear este tipo de espacios, tanto presenciales como en l\u00ednea, por lo que \u201cGravity Commons\u201d nos pareci\u00f3 el nombre adecuado para una organizaci\u00f3n que busca hacer esto.<\/p>\n

Nuestro podcast<\/a> Ha sido la principal forma en que hemos buscado fomentar y compartir este tipo de conversaciones, y seguiremos haci\u00e9ndolo en ese formato. Pero tambi\u00e9n quer\u00edamos crear una forma de construir una comunidad aut\u00e9ntica en la que todos podamos contribuir a la conversaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Por eso creamos la Comunidad Gravity<\/a>. Es como una \u201czona com\u00fan\u201d en l\u00ednea para personas que quieren explorar sus preguntas sobre la fe y aprender juntas c\u00f3mo seguir a Jes\u00fas en el siglo XXI.<\/p>\n

Pi\u00e9nsalo como lo mejor de las redes sociales: no una plataforma enorme en la que todos est\u00e1n, poblada por trolls y bots, financiada por la venta de tu informaci\u00f3n a anunciantes, sino una comunidad m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a y personalizada de personas reales con un inter\u00e9s com\u00fan que quieren aprender unos de otros y hacerse amigos, financiada por EE. UU.<\/strong>las personas que en realidad usar <\/em>la red.<\/p>\n

Este es el tipo de espacios que queremos crear (tanto presenciales como en l\u00ednea). Espacios en los que podamos desarrollar ideas, mantener debates aut\u00e9nticos y encontrar formas de expresarnos y actuar de manera significativa juntos en favor de la justicia y el bien com\u00fan.<\/p>\n

En resumen, ese es el motivo central detr\u00e1s de nuestro nuevo nombre y nuestro nuevo emprendimiento. \u00bfTe apuntas?<\/a><\/p>\n
