{"id":14657,"date":"2019-09-05T06:00:54","date_gmt":"2019-09-05T10:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gravitycommons.com\/?p=14657"},"modified":"2025-03-07T18:54:56","modified_gmt":"2025-03-07T22:54:56","slug":"talking-about-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gravitycommons.com\/es\/talking-about-god\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00bfSabes de lo que est\u00e1s hablando cuando dices \u201cDios\u201d?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Uno de los mayores errores que cometemos al hablar con otros sobre la fe, ya sea en la evangelizaci\u00f3n o al predicar y ense\u00f1ar las Escrituras, es que <strong>asumimos que todos estamos hablando de lo mismo cuando decimos \u201cDios\u201d.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Esto es <em>camino\u00a0<\/em>m\u00e1s que un problema teol\u00f3gico menor. Hay un <em>lote<\/em> en juego en lo que la gente imagina cuando piensa en \u201cDios\u201d, incluida su propia capacidad para estar abierta a conocer a Dios. Como dijo A.W. Tozer: \u201cLo que viene a nuestra mente cuando pensamos en Dios es lo m\u00e1s importante de nosotros\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Bagaje cultural heredado<\/h2>\n<p>Hemos heredado un gran bagaje cultural que hace que hablar de Dios sea mucho m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil de lo que la mayor\u00eda de nosotros supondr\u00edamos, y este es un asunto pastoral importante para aquellos que intentamos crear un espacio para que las personas se encuentren con Dios.<\/p>\n<p>Por ejemplo, mira estos excelentes <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cewgreen\/status\/1031934113052352513\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pensamientos de Chris Green<\/a>\u00a0que descubr\u00ed hace un tiempo:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>He descubierto que cuando la gente dice \u201cDios\u201d a menudo, si no es que siempre, se refieren a aquello que hace que sucedan las cosas que no pueden explicar f\u00e1cilmente.<\/p>\n<p>Esto se expresa a menudo en declaraciones que comienzan as\u00ed:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEsto tiene que ser Dios...\u201d o \u201cDebe haber sido Dios porque...\u201d o \u201cSolo Dios...\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Esta forma de imaginar supone que Dios es una causa m\u00e1s entre otras causas, un ser (el Supremo) entre muchos. Pero como dir\u00edan los Padres y las Madres, eso no es digno del Dios revelado en la vida de Jes\u00fas.<\/p>\n<p>Lo m\u00e1s preocupante es que a menudo reforzamos esta idea indigna de Dios cuando intentamos dar testimonio de las cosas buenas que nos han sucedido. \u00bfC\u00f3mo hablamos de Dios y de nuestra relaci\u00f3n con \u00c9l sin sugerir estas ideas m\u00edticas?<\/p>\n<p>Por un lado, podemos hacer una distinci\u00f3n entre lo que nos sucede, ya sea bueno o malo, y lo que Dios est\u00e1 haciendo. Lo primero es profundo y, por lo tanto, solo se puede conocer en parte. Lo \u00faltimo es infinito y, por lo tanto, no se puede conocer, excepto por la fe.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, podemos predicar y ense\u00f1ar sobre Dios y no solo sobre lo que Dios puede hacer por nosotros. Creo que necesitamos que nos recuerden constantemente que Dios no es \u00fatil. No son lo mismo, necesariamente. Y tambi\u00e9n podemos enfocar nuestra predicaci\u00f3n y ense\u00f1anza en\u00a0<strong>qui\u00e9n es Dios<\/strong>, no solo lo que Dios puede hacer por nosotros. La Palabra definitiva del Padre. La imagen del Dios invisible.<\/p>\n<p>Por eso amo este clip de video de John Behr, un sacerdote y te\u00f3logo ortodoxo oriental. \u00c9l dice que la respuesta cristiana a la pregunta, \u201c\u00bfQui\u00e9n es Dios?\u201d, es simplemente: Jesucristo. Empezamos\u00a0<em>all\u00ed<\/em>, en la persona y obra real de Jesucristo (especialmente la cruz), y avanzamos hacia afuera, no al rev\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"John Behr - \u00bfQu\u00e9 es Dios?\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_MVF4XAFEhA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>No especules, mira a Jes\u00fas<\/h2>\n<p>En lugar de especular sobre si \u201cDios\u201d existe o no, los cristianos miran a la persona de Cristo y dicen: \u201cEste Dios existe\u201d. Parafraseando a N.T. Wright (no recuerdo d\u00f3nde le\u00ed esto): \u201cDecir que Jes\u00fas es Dios no es aprender algo sobre Jes\u00fas, sino m\u00e1s bien aprender algo sobre Dios\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Afirmar consistentemente la bondad de Dios en Cristo es una tarea pastoral a la que vuelvo a menudo, porque a menudo es solo cuando suceden cosas malas que las personas\u00a0<em>actual<\/em> surgen creencias sobre Dios. Asumen que si su sufrimiento no se alivia, es porque Dios los est\u00e1 castigando, o que Dios no se preocupa por ellos, o que Dios es caprichoso o vengativo.<\/p>\n<p>He encontrado vital seguir
